Playlist support 2…
October 25, 2010
Now with screens! Coming to a remoteless iPhone-app near you in not to long…
Top left: Playlists and URIs now got two different tabs in favorites.
Top middle: The new playlist import tab.
Top right: The new URI import tab, now you can import any URI directly into favorites.
Bottom left: Wait while we import your playlists…
Bottom middle: Success! All your playlists are now updated.
Bottom right: Imported playlists now got tracks when you browse them.
It takes some time to get this into released versions, but we are getting there!

Does it work with folders?
Even though I would have liked an iPad version of the app, I’m glad I voted for this as this is the feature I miss the most.
This is just solving the main issues I found when I installed the app: playlist sync and the tracks of the playlists!!
Please, release this asap! Thanks!
Just to let you guys know, we are currently removing the sync-step, so that instead of “syncing” you just browse your lists directly. Much much better. Its almost done in development, so then we only need to release it
Maybe we add a couple of new features first… you wont be disappointed.
Just made the no-sync playlists work on my dev-version of remoteless. It’s mega awsome!
Controlling your music with direct access to playlists makes remoteless 5x times more usable. Progress!
Finally, with this functionality in place the app is one step closer to being a fully functional remote for Spotify! I realize the limitations are because of Spotify’s restrictive API, have you got a response from Spotify why these limitations are there in the first place? I can’t really think of any reasons why Spotify would limit their product like this. :/
Are you planning on adding support for iPhone 4 with this update? The remoteless icon looks really crappy on the iPhone 4 display, and including high res graphics within the app would make the app more enjoyable for us iPhone 4 owners.
Thanks for a great app!
The APIs are only restricted for non-premium, and remoteless is a non-premium remote. From all our users we basically got the feedback that as long as it works, people are pretty happy. We just got the first iPhone 4 in the team, so who knows, but the prioritylist is long, and if you read our other blog-posts you see that we have other stuff we want to do.
Hi guys, any news on the playlist synching? (or did i miss smtg..?) thx!
