Playlist support…

Just got this from my debug console:

Basically we can now load playlists. Progress for playlist support is going forward!

I just bought the app and was a little disappointed that i needed to import every list manually, but this sounds good.
Will you also be able to browse the list? To see all songs in the list like an album?
Yes, you will be able to browse the playlist and start a song in it or start the whole list.
Only thing we cant do is to start song X in a playlist and the continue plying the list. If you start a track in a plylist you will start it from its album, but starting the list from the start works.
Why is that? Because you have not figured out how to make it work or the API from Spotify? Or is it some limitations of the free accounts?
The API from spotify.
We can get all your playlist information, but there is currently no way to say play song X in playlist Y. We know how to do play song X, and we know how to start playlist Y, but there is no API or anything to combine them? Or are there URIs that starts a song in a playlist? Only way for us to start stuff is by calling URIs, just like you do from your web browser. Thats it. If we made our own spotify client, things would be different, but we are a spotify remote, not a spotify client. Maybe remoteless 3.0 also is a full spotify client
, but that would again only be possible to use for premium users.

I think you should put a litle more goodies for Premium users, it because of them Spotify is still alive.

Jonas: 90% of the spotify users are free users, and we want to be for everybody. Hopefully we will do our part by enabling playlistsupport for the premium users.

#2: Har du lest bruksanvisningen for windows? Mac er beta så den fungerer mligens ikke. Dette står klart og tydelig.
#3: Mac har en diagnostics-funksjon på helperen som analyserer systemet ditt. Ved å gjøre dette vet man godt hva som er feil. Bare send linken til support@remoteless.no
#4: Dersom du ikke gir noen som helst tilbakemelding på hva du har prøvd så kan vi umulig vite hva som er galt. Vi trenger all den hjelpen vi kan få til å finne feil og mangler, men det krever også at brukerne våre gir oss god tilbakemelding. Skriv gjerne at du har installert helperen, men at oppkoblingen gikk galt etc…
